Couple quite satisfied
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the sunshine with a glass of prosecco on the lovely patio. The food was beautiful, I had some seriously tasty fish cakes to start, and those turkey trimmings? Perfect.
Not exactly a bargain but still acceptable for what we got.

Very good breakfast. Fast WLAN. Very courteous and friendly staff. Bathroom clean and modern. Comfortable beds.
A bit noisy. Creaking floorboards. All is outdated.

Great for a Solo Traveler
The evening meal was amazing, really. I mean, the quality of ingredients was a real standout-I'd say it's worth a trip for the food alone.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know, you get what you pay for.

The unit had an amazing bathroom and spacious bedroom. You could leave a car onsite. Location: the hotel was just next door to the restaurant as well as North Wales.

Room, Staff attitudes (excellent) in all departments. Breakfast staff especially bright and cheerful and accommodating. Once more, we enjoyed our stay at Holt Lodge. Reception staff also helpful when asked for change of room from upper to ground floor. (Health reasons)....

Excellent value with breakfast included. I've tried to book again for a bit later on this year, but this time breakfast isn't included. Pity.
The rather large spider's web on the ceiling over the shower/bath, also the noisy, creaky floorboards/visitors in the room above ours. Only this was for only one night, thankfully. Apart from that one night the hotel was quiet.
